Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of APIs and microservices.
• Design and oversee large-scale, highly scalable software systems.
• Make high-level architecture and design decisions and establish coding standards.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, and Engineering teams.
• Drive engineering excellence through code reviews, mentoring, testing, CI/CD, and observability.
• Ensure compliance with SLA standards and implement monitoring and alerting.
• Lead incident response, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
• Define architectural decisions and long-term technical strategy.
• Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies.
• Refactor and extend existing codebases while maintaining flexibility and scalability.
• Manage software development projects, including analysis, testing, deployment, and troubleshooting.
• Work with AI-driven SDLC tools and AI-assisted development.
• Translate business requirements into robust technical designs.
• Develop prototypes/POCs to evaluate new technologies and approaches.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, including at least 2 years in a technical leadership role.
• Strong experience developing secure and standards-compliant software across multiple platforms.
• Advanced experience with:
  • C# / .NET
  • SQL
  • Azure
  • Azure native services such as APIM, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and Key Vault
  • Container technologies and cloud-native frameworks
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design, OAuth2, and OpenAPI.
• Strong experience with event-driven architecture, including Service Bus and Event Hubs.
• Experience with observability platforms such as Datadog and Grafana.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, Agile/Scrum, and security best practices.
• Knowledge of security and compliance standards such as PCI DSS and SOC 2.
• Strong leadership, communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment supporting mission- and revenue-critical customer-facing applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with FinTech or embedded finance platforms.
• Experience with partner integration workflows using APIs and SLAs.
• Contributions to open-source projects or technical publications
