Description

Lead the architecture and delivery of high-performance computing (HPC) and AI infrastructure solutions across hybrid cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Architect and manage HPC clusters using Slurm, Altair PBS Pro, HPE Cluster Management (HPCM), and NVIDIA Base Command Manager.
• Design and implement container orchestration platforms, including CNCF Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift, SUSE Rancher, or Canonical Charmed Kubernetes.
• Administer Linux systems (RHEL, SLES, Ubuntu) and optimize performance for high-speed networking stacks like InfiniBand and Mellanox.
• Deploy and manage GPU technologies, utilizing the NVIDIA GPU Operator and DCGM for health monitoring and performance tuning.
• Integrate DevOps and MLOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and open-source AI/ML tool lifecycle management.

Required Skills

• 8–10+ years of experience in architecting HPC, AI/ML, and container platform solutions.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Docker, Podman, and Singularity.
• Proficiency in Python and Bash for automation and scripting.
• Solid understanding of core networking principles, including DNS, TCP/IP, routing, and load balancing.
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as KVM and OpenShift Virtualization.
• Knowledge of hybrid cloud architectures and data protocols (S3, NFS, SMB/CIFS).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Professional certifications such as RHCSA, RHCE, CNCF (CKA, CKAD, CKS), or NVIDIA-Certified Associate - AI Infrastructure and Operations.
• Experience with cloud-native security, observability, and compliance frameworks.
