Description

Lead solution architecture and technical design for the JMS program, owning end-to-end delivery from design through post-go-live stabilization.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern API-first and event-driven architectures, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
• Design secure, PII-aware systems, implementing data masking, unmasking, and encryption in transit and at rest.
• Integrate AI-enabled capabilities into solution designs, including automation, intelligent routing, and operational insights.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance, troubleshooting, and code reviews across design, build, and test phases.
• Partner with DevOps, security, and infrastructure teams to drive execution and support migration initiatives.

Required Skills

• 10+ years overall IT experience, with 5+ years in a Solution Architect or Senior Technical Lead role.
• Strong hands-on experience with API gateways (Kong preferred) and event-driven systems (Solace, Kafka, MQ).
• Cloud experience with AWS and strong collaboration with DevOps teams.
• Proficiency in .NET or Java development.
• Proven delivery experience across the full solution lifecycle: design, build, test, go live, and stabilization.
• Experience designing architectures that handle PII and comply with data governance standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid onsite/offshore delivery model.

Preferred Skills

• Experience applying AI to integration platforms, messaging workflows, or operational monitoring.
• Familiarity with Large Language Model (LLM) applications such as Claude Code (CLI) and AI-assisted development.
• Experience with Lucid for documentation and design.
