You will lead technical strategy and infrastructure optimization for warehouse management systems.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Measure system latency and collaborate with network teams to optimize performance and costs.
• Travel to distribution centers to conduct on-site assessments and align technology with operational needs.
• Evaluate on-premise versus cloud deployment models, including TCO, ROI, and payback periods.
• Assess WMS scalability for future automation and benchmark against industry leaders.
• Facilitate vendor assessments and remove technical roadblocks to ensure data access and testing availability.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in supply chain technology, WMS optimization, or IT strategy.
• Expertise in network performance, system latency, and infrastructure scalability.
• Proven ability to drive executive-level recommendations through business-technology alignment.
• Experience conducting on-site assessments and leading cross-functional teams.
• Solutions Architect background with deep WMS optimization knowledge.
• Ability to perform detailed cost-benefit analyses for cloud and hardware deployments.
• Experience analyzing the feasibility and resource requirements of customizing third-party WMS versus building proprietary solutions.

Preferred Skills

• Background in evaluating custom vs. proprietary WMS solutions.
