Description

You will lead and mentor a team of SQL Server DBAs while overseeing enterprise-scale SQL Server health and performance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the health, performance, and availability of enterprise-scale SQL Server environments.
• Architect, implement, and maintain high availability and disaster recovery solutions using Always On and clustering.
• Drive automation, query tuning, and performance optimization across the database estate.
• Collaborate with developers to review database code, schema designs, and deployment pipelines.
• Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and participate in 24/7 on-call rotation.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of demonstrated experience in Microsoft SQL Server administration and development.
• Expertise in SQL Server internals, performance tuning, and complex issue resolution.
• Demonstrable experience leading or mentoring DBAs in enterprise environments.
• Strong background in HA/DR designs and multi-data center solutions.
• Expertise in database deployment automation and advanced T-SQL.
• Proficient in indexing strategies, locking, blocking, and concurrency management.
• Skilled in performance tuning at storage, server, and OS levels.
• Proficiency with SQL Server, Performance Tuning, T-sql, Splunk, and Datadog.
• Familiarity with MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with .NET/C# for database integration or tooling.
