Description

You will manage and optimize mission-critical Microsoft SQL Server environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Administer, design, build, and tune Microsoft SQL Server environments.
• Execute standard DBA duties including patching, backups, restores, and live monitoring.
• Perform database health checks and troubleshoot or remediate findings.
• Partner with application support and development teams to refine SQL scripts and assist with deployments.
• Manage upgrades of lower SQL Server versions and assist in migrating on-premise MSSQL databases to the cloud.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database administration.
• Expertise in MS SQL Server and MSSQL.
• Proven experience with SQL Server patching and performance tuning.
• Experience managing database backups and recovery strategies.
• Ability to support application release deployments and break-fix requests.
• Experience with database migrations from on-premise to cloud environments.
• Availability for 12x7 on-call rotation and emergency alert response.
• Any Graduate degree.
