Description

Lead the design, configuration, and optimization of enterprise-wide observability solutions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Own the design, deployment, and optimization of Dynatrace for enterprise observability.
• Define monitoring standards, best practices, and governance for consistency and scalability.
• Deploy and tune OneAgent, build end-to-end PurePath tracing, and leverage Smartscape topology.
• Integrate Dynatrace with incident management, automation, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot performance issues and implement permanent fixes.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) with cloud technologies and automation.
• Extended experience instrumenting the OpenTelemetry (OTEL) Framework.
• Hands-on experience developing Dynatrace Plug-and-play observability modules (OKit) for Java and .NET applications.
• Strong skills in APM, distributed tracing, synthetic/real user monitoring, and log monitoring.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS, including Control Tower, Project Setup, Account Creation, RDS, and SSO.
• Solid understanding and hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Linux Commands, GitLab CI/CD setup, and Terraform state management.
• Monitoring and alerting setup experience with Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana, or ELK.

Preferred Skills

• Experience leveraging programmatic SLI/SLO blueprints for observability framework standardization.
• Hands-on experience with Azure and GCP cloud platforms.
