Description

You will lead technical direction and implementation for high-scale Java applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Manage messaging workflows and data persistence via Apache Kafka and PostgreSQL.
• Own code quality through unit testing, BDD, and tools like SonarQube.
• Collaborate with offshore and onsite teams to deliver automated infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
• Integrate APIs and manage cloud-based deployments on AWS.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of professional experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Deep expertise in Apache Kafka for messaging.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and PostgreSQL (specifically AWS RDS).
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud environments.
• Experience building and maintaining microservices and API integrations.
• Practical knowledge of BDD, automation, and unit testing.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, DevOps, and CI/CD tooling.
• Background in the Retail domain.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Certifications.
• Experience with Anaplan.
