Description

Lead structural design and BIM modeling for industrial, manufacturing, and office facility projects.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality BIM models in Revit, including 3D engineering designs, plan drawings, sections, elevations, and installation details.
• Create parametric, formula-nested families and type catalogs to support structural modeling standards.
• Coordinate structural models with multidisciplinary teams (Mechanical, Electrical, Piping/Plumbing) to ensure consistency.
• Prepare material take-offs and layout structural solutions for 30%, 60%, and 90% model reviews.
• Assist in gathering information for RFIs and improving structural design standards with the BIM/CAD support team.

Required Skills

• Minimum 4 years of civil/structural drafting experience for building or industrial projects.
• Expert proficiency in Revit Structural, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong experience developing BIM content, specifically parametric families and nested components.
• Ability to work under the direction of Lead Engineers with minimal supervision.
• ITE drafting certification or equivalent experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing project requirements and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Experience with industrial, manufacturing, or office facility renovations.
