Description

Own the structural design and analysis for industrial, manufacturing, and data center facilities.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design of concrete and steel systems for new builds and renovations.
• Create detailed reports and justify design calculations to support engineering decisions.
• Coordinate with architectural, mechanical, electrical, and IT teams to integrate structural solutions.
• Review shop drawings and subcontractor submissions for accuracy and constructability.
• Maintain project documentation, models, and version control in the data management system.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 4-8 years of experience in structural design for commercial, industrial, or data center projects.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is required.
• Proficiency with STAAD.Pro, RISA-3D, ENERCALC, or RAM Connection.
• Working knowledge of IBC, ACI, AISC, and ASCE standards.
• Experience designing roof joists, tilt-up walls, and warehouse structures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam.

Preferred Skills

• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Experience with refinery projects.
