Description

Lead the modeling and analysis of complex System of Systems to define system-level requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate modeling and analysis of complex systems to establish requirements.
  • Collaborate with System Architects to define architecture for deployability, reliability, performance, and testability.
  • Represent the Systems Engineering team in project meetings, management discussions, and global organizational syncs.
  • Drive the overall system engineering strategy and maintain the engineering backlog.
  • Advise development and test project leads on engineering strategy and implementation.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in systems architecture or systems engineering.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent technical experience.
  • V-model expertise, specifically requirements analysis and functional analysis.
  • Proficiency with modeling tools such as Cameo or SysML.
  • Experience with software-based FMEA.
  • In-depth knowledge of enterprise-level software development.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to decompose complex system dependencies into actionable tasks.
  • Ability to align diverse internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of medical device standards and regulatory requirements, such as IEC 62304.
  • Experience with networked software systems.

Preferred Skills

  • Master’s degree in a relevant technical field.
  • Experience with Medical Device Software product development.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing, networking, or security (e.g., CISSP, CISA).
