Description

You will manage and maintain critical network and control systems within the DC Metro area.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain Cisco networks, firewalls, and domain controls.
• Manage HMI, PLC, and transmitter devices used in signal transmission and control systems.
• Monitor and interpret data from RTUs and other control system components to drive technical decisions.
• Manage electrical circuit switches and current diversion hardware.
• Travel to client locations within the DC Metro area to complete onsite tasks.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience in network and control systems.
• Bachelor's degree in information technology, public administration, management information systems, or a related field.
• Proficiency with Cisco Networks, firewalls, and domain controls.
• Experience with Human-Machine Interface (HMI) and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).
• Experience with transmitter devices and control systems.
• Familiarity with Remote Terminal Units (RTU).
• Knowledge of electrical circuit switch operations.

Preferred Skills

• Certified OpenStack Administrator, Cisco Certified Network Admin, or Cisco Certified Design Expert.
• CompTIA ITF+, A+, Network+, or Security+ certifications.
