Description

You will lead analysis for portfolio analytics initiatives and platform enhancements, translating complex investor needs into functional requirements.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Partner with portfolio managers and research analysts to define portfolio analytics, risk, and performance workflows.
• Lead end-to-end analysis for complex initiatives spanning investment data, analytics, and user experience.
• Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and solution designs.
• Collaborate with engineers and architects to evaluate technical tradeoffs and implementation impacts.
• Drive high-quality Agile practices, including backlog readiness, sprint planning, and release validation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst or Business Analyst in complex technology environments.
• Strong understanding of asset management industry concepts: portfolio risk, performance attribution, and factor exposures.
• Ability to structure ambiguity and make clear recommendations for cross-functional teams.
• Experience working in Agile or iterative development environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field.
• Exceptional communication skills to engage directly with investment professionals.
• Working familiarity with SQL or data analysis tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working directly with portfolio managers or research analysts.
• Practical experience applying AI techniques (e.g., Copilot/ChatGPT) for prompt design and workflow automation.
