Description

Lead the administration and configuration of monitoring systems across infrastructure, networks, and applications.

Responsibilities

• Administer DataDog for Linux infrastructure, network, and application monitoring.
• Manage centralized logging and build dashboards for DataDog APM and other monitoring tools.
• Automate system tasks using Python, Shell, or Ansible.
• Troubleshoot Java applications and network components using monitoring data.
• Document monitoring processes and create training materials for internal teams.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of IT experience with deep knowledge of Linux and networking.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with DataDog or ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
• Proficiency in Python and Shell scripting.
• Experience with SSL setup on Linux.
• Knowledge of network components including F5 and SNMP.
• Experience monitoring Java applications.
• Familiarity with Selenium and cloud monitoring.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• ITIL certification.
• SAFe Agile methodology experience.
