Description

You will lead technical direction and mentor a team of 8+ ETL developers to deliver complex data integration solutions.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor ETL development teams while providing technical guidance.
• Design and implement complex ETL/ELT solutions using Talend Studio to integrate APIs, cloud apps, and databases.
• Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot Talend jobs, workflows, and mappings to ensure performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, schedules, and deliverables.
• Establish coding standards and best practices through code reviews and documentation.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in ETL and Data Integration development.
• Expertise in Talend Studio and Talend Administration Center / Talend Management Console (TMC).
• Strong SQL skills for complex querying, transformation, and data manipulation.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
• Practical knowledge of AWS services including EC2, S3, IAM, Redshift, RDS, Aurora, and DynamoDB.
• Experience with AWS data integration tools such as AWS Glue, Athena, and Lake Formation.
• Proficiency in Python and shell scripting.
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines and Terraform.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Big Data technologies including Hadoop and Apache Spark.
• Talend Certified Developer or AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner/Data Engineer Associate certifications.
