Description

You design and build AML, sanctions, and fraud detection models while engineering the data pipelines and reporting views that support them. You lead engineering efforts for suspicious transaction case management workflows and occasionally serve as Scrum Master to guide development crews.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and build reporting views aggregating data from Hadoop, Oracle, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch.
• Develop and maintain data and model pipelines using PySpark.
• Implement and evolve behavioral and screening models related to AML, Sanctions, and fraud detection.
• Manage the lifecycle of suspicious transaction cases through the case management workflow.
• Lead engineering efforts and fulfill Scrum Master functions to manage development crews.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional experience in software engineering and data modeling.
• Subject matter expertise in AML, Sanctions Screening, Fraud, and FinCrime domains.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Hadoop, Oracle, Elasticsearch, and MongoDB.
• Strong development background in Java and Angular/JavaScript.
• Extensive experience working within Agile/SAFe teams using Jira.
• Commercial or Retail Payments industry background.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Actimize, FircoSoft, or LexisNexis suite of tools.
• Familiarity with financial applications like Oracle FCCM.
