Description

You will function as a lead technical analyst, bridging functional requirements in the BSA space with complex data engineering and software development.

Responsibilities

• Design and build views reports aggregating data from disparate sources including Hadoop, Oracle, MongoDB, and ElasticSearch.
• Develop and maintain data and model pipelines using PySpark.
• Implement and manage behavioral and screening models, including filters for case management workflows.
• Manage development cycles within Agile/Scrum frameworks, potentially acting as a Scrum Master.
• Address and implement technical requirements changes across the full stack (Java/Angular front-end, Python/PySpark back-end).

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in a technical role.
• Subject matter expertise in AML, Sanctions Screening, Fraud, and other FinCrime domains.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Hadoop, Oracle, Elasticsearch, and MongoDB.
• Experience developing with Java and Angular (JavaScript).
• Proficiency with PySpark for data pipeline construction.
• Extensive experience working on Agile/SAFe teams using Jira.
• Commercial/Retail Payments industry background.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Actimize, FircoSoft, or LexisNexis suite of tools.
• Familiarity with AWS or Azure environments.
