Description

Architect and lead the development of scalable test automation frameworks for Windows desktop applications using C# and .NET.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automation frameworks for WinForms, WPF, and legacy UI applications.
• Define automation strategies, coding standards, and best practices for the engineering team.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and feedback.
• Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical sessions to drive team growth.
• Evaluate and adopt new tools, including AI-based solutions, to improve test coverage and efficiency.

Required Skills

• 9-12 years of experience in software testing and test automation.
• Strong expertise in C#, C#.NET, and .NET framework development.
• Hands-on experience building test automation frameworks from scratch.
• Proficiency in UI automation for desktop applications (WinForms/WPF).
• Experience with SpecFlow or similar Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks.
• Proven track record of leading automation initiatives or teams.
• Experience integrating automation with DevOps and CI/CD practices.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to manual testing and hybrid testing approaches.
• Experience collaborating with globally distributed product engineering teams.
• M.E., M.Tech, B.Tech, MCA, or B.E. in Computer Science or related field.
