Description

You will lead durability verification and validation for vehicle and component testing, including road load data collection.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Conduct durability testing and manage data collection for entire vehicle programs.
• Set up and operate component testing and vehicle rig testing equipment.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and root causes.
• Prepare technical test reports and presentations for program teams.
• Collaborate with chassis, dynamics, and durability groups to validate test setups.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in durability testing and data collection.
• 2+ years of MTS 329 rig testing, including drive file development.
• 2+ years of RLDA experience with data post-processing.
• 2+ years of experience with component level testing.
• Proficiency using nCode for load calculations on body, chassis, propulsion, and suspension systems.
• Experience with accelerated fatigue testing and block cycle testing.
• Strong background in program management and independent root cause analysis.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent testing projects.
• Willingness to perform regular local travel to suppliers and proving grounds.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Parametric CAD or Catia V6.
• Proficiency in MATLAB, Simulink, or Python.
