Description

You will lead the implementation and delivery of new UI features, services, and enhancements for the BestX product.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Own tasks from initial requirement through to full completion, influencing long-term technology decisions.
• Establish engineering best practices, clean-code standards, and design patterns.
• Drive Test Driven Development and shift-left testing to facilitate effective CI/CD.
• Develop functional understanding of Transaction Cost Analysis and MiFID/MiFIR benchmarks.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of programming experience with Java, C++, or C#, including object-oriented design and distributed systems.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience building high-performance web front ends using React or Angular.
• 7+ years of experience contributing to system architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
• Proficiency with TypeScript, JavaScript, WebSockets, Material UI, and REST APIs.
• Experience with modern JavaScript build tool chains including Node, npm, rush, yarn, webpack, or babel.
• Hands-on experience with AWS or other modern cloud-based infrastructure.
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Domain knowledge in FX, Fixed Income, Equity, or Equity Derivatives products.
• Experience with FIX, messaging services, and caching technologies.

Preferred Skills

• Strong expertise in Node.js.
