Description

Lead technical teams through the full software development lifecycle using Agile methodologies, owning design, coding, and testing.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical teams in an Agile process, owning design, coding, and testing within a heterogeneous technology environment.
• Develop secure, high-quality production code and perform code reviews and debugging for other engineers.
• Ensure product quality through unit, component, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Identify and implement automation to remediate recurring issues and improve operational stability.
• Lead evaluation sessions with vendors and internal teams to probe architectural designs and technical applicability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of applied experience in software engineering and application development.
• Expertise in JavaScript, ReactJS, HTML, and CSS.
• Strong experience with Single Page App development, including Virtual DOM, Component lifecycle, JSX, and React Router.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and the ReactJS ecosystem.
• Experience customizing CSS frameworks like Bootstrap or Foundation using LESS or SASS.
• Hands-on experience with AXIOS, RESTful web services, and GraphQL.
• Practical experience with Node.js, NPM, Git, Webpack, and open-source build tools.
• Experience writing unit tests with Jest or React Testing Library and component tests with Cypress.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, automation, and continuous delivery methods.

Preferred Skills

• Foundational understanding of cloud-native environments and financial services IT systems.
