Description

Lead the user experience design for a loan origination platform and associated customer-facing tools.

Responsibilities

• Transform complex business processes into simple, efficient experiences for employees and customers.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to communicate design concepts effectively.
• Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to iteratively refine designs.
• Establish and maintain design systems to ensure consistency and scalability across applications.
• Mentor junior designers and participate in product strategy, planning, and roadmapping.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of hands-on experience designing web and mobile experiences.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma or Sketch.
• Experience with generative research and evaluative testing methodologies.
• Working knowledge of front-end concepts to collaborate with engineering partners.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality designs within Agile sprint timelines.
• Experience building inclusive, accessible experiences following WCAG 2.2 guidelines.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating an outcome-focused design process.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Interaction Design, HCI, or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience in the financial industry, specifically lending.
• Experience designing complex, internal business applications with high information density.
