Description

You will lead the research, design, and implementation of complex network security technologies and Web Application Firewall protections.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage WAF policies, onboarding applications to the security stack.
• Lead technical security incident response, including cyber threat analysis and vulnerability mitigation.
• Manage staging and configuration of network security products following strict change management guidelines.
• Provide security consulting for large projects to ensure conformity with corporate policies and standards.
• Mentor security engineers during analysis and implementation tasks.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience with Akamai Kona Site Defender.
• Hands-on experience with WAF technologies such as Akamai, Imperva, or F5.
• Proven expertise in API protection and general security implementation.
• Experience managing large-scale network and systems security issues.
• Strong knowledge of risk management, threat identification, and incident response.
• Ability to evaluate vendor proposals and emerging security technologies.
• Any Graduate degree.
