Description

You will lead the technical direction for Windows server environments and oversee installations, configurations, and migrations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Mentor team members, identify skill gaps, and plan necessary training.
• Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot complex issues to maintain SLA uptime.
• Define, audit, and enforce operational processes and security patching schedules.
• Plan and manage backup, restoration, and disaster recovery strategies for 24x7 operations.
• Build and maintain test environments to validate design changes and new technologies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Windows systems engineering.
• In-depth knowledge of Active Directory, including FSMO roles, replication, and infrastructure implementation.
• Proficiency in DNS, DHCP, WINS, and Windows Registry management.
• Expertise in Group Policy creation, testing, and implementation.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server (2000/2003), File and Print Server management, and Windows Security.
• Experience managing MS Clusters, Windows Load Balancing, and RAID/Array controller management.
• Proven ability in recovering AD Domain Controllers and managing DHCP server design.
• Experience with VMware environment installation, configuration, and management.
• Proficiency with WSUS, SMS, antivirus products, and OEM hardware (Dell/HP/IBM).

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Citrix environments.
