Description

Lead the architecture and implementation of automation frameworks for compute and storage services, driving platform engineering with a focus on security, scalability, and DevOps maturity.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, and document automation programs using Agile practices.
• Refine platform architecture and define functional and non-functional requirements for compute and storage products.
• Build and implement technology frameworks for DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Partner with architects to integrate modern strategies into next-generation domain architecture.
• Mentor engineers on complex application solution design, secure coding, and secrets management.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of engineering experience with expertise in Cloud Automation.
• 2+ years of experience with VMWare Aria Suite (vRA, vRO, vROPs, vRLI, vRSLCM, or vIDM).
• 4+ years of experience scripting and developing with Python, PowerShell, Shell, or Perl.
• 4+ years of formal development experience in Java, C#, or GoLang.
• 2+ years of experience with infrastructure automation platforms including Ansible, Terraform, or Packer.
• 2+ years of experience using GitHub and Jenkins for integrations.
• 2+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering and platform management (RedHat, Windows, Hyper-Converged, or Virtualization).
• 2+ years of experience in complex application solution design and team mentoring.
• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements for Distributed Infrastructure, Data Protection, and Cyber Resiliency.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with secure coding practices and security architecture reviews.
