Description

You will design and manage scalable cloud infrastructure and automated deployment pipelines on AWS.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage secure AWS infrastructure using Terraform or CloudFormation to ensure consistency and repeatability.
• Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines using AWS DevOps tools and CodePipeline for end-to-end release automation.
• Orchestrate containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker, including the management of AWS ECS.
• Provision ephemeral environments for testing and staging, implementing automated cleanup strategies to optimize costs.
• Monitor application performance and implement observability practices including SLI/SLO and event correlation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps or Platform Engineer.
• Deep expertise in AWS services including VPC, EC2, EBS, S3, ASG, CloudWatch, Lambda, and Load Balancers.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes for container orchestration and scaling.
• Strong experience with Docker for containerization.
• Advanced skills in Python, bash scripting, and YAML.
• Proven ability to implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Hands-on experience with GitHub for source code management and collaborative workflows.
• Experience with distributed systems, scalability, and performance optimization.
• Strong debugging skills and understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.

Preferred Skills

• Experience creating ephemeral environments for CI/CD.
• Background working in a startup environment.
