Description

You will design, build, and maintain backend services and microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and containerization technologies.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement RESTful APIs and integration points using enterprise patterns.
• Develop and maintain microservices architecture using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Optimize database performance through query tuning and schema management in Oracle and PostgreSQL.
• Ensure code quality by implementing unit and integration tests with JUnit and Mockito.
• Troubleshoot production issues using monitoring and profiling tools.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in backend development.
• Strong expertise in Java (version 8+), OOP, and multithreading.
• Proficiency with the Spring ecosystem, including Spring Boot, MVC, and JPA/Hibernate.
• Experience designing and securing APIs using OAuth and JWT.
• Proficiency with Oracle and PostgreSQL, including performance tuning.
• Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD workflows.
• Knowledge of distributed messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with microservices, Docker, and Kubernetes.
