Description

You will own the full development lifecycle for n-tier software applications serving a DoD client.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using C#, ASP.NET, and MVC 5.
• Optimize SQL Server performance via T-SQL tuning and stored procedure development.
• Build and maintain Web Services, including RESTful APIs and XML-based services.
• Implement front-end interfaces using Razor, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and AngularJS.
• Manage source code version control and defect tracking using Team Foundation Server.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of software application development experience.
• Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, VB.NET, MVC 5, and Razor.
• Strong experience with Entity Framework and SQL Server (T-SQL, Stored Procedures).
• Hands-on expertise with XML, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and AngularJS.
• Experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS) and Web Services (RESTful/Web API).
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and n-tier architecture.
• U.S. Citizenship required for DoD Secret security clearance.
• Ability to obtain Security+ or CISSP certification within six months.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SharePoint 2013, Agile methodologies, or Service Oriented Architecture.
• Knowledge of Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) and Telerik Controls.
