Architect and implement complex AI systems for next-generation legal solutions.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement multi-component AI pipelines, RAG systems, and custom AI agents.
• Implement testing frameworks, monitoring tools, and ethical AI practices to ensure system quality.
• Proactively identify risks, provide data-driven recommendations, and optimize system performance.
• Collaborate with Product, UX, and Science teams to translate requirements into technical specifications.
• Analyze existing systems and recommend architectural improvements for efficiency and scalability.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years focused on AI/ML.
• Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, and TensorFlow.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML systems, including RAG architectures or multi-component AI pipelines.
• 2–4 years building production applications in Python, ensuring clean, testable code.
• 2–4 years building production front-end applications using JavaScript/TypeScript with React and Angular.
• 2–4 years of AWS experience deploying scalable services (Lambda, S3, EC2).
• Experience integrating AI models into production via APIs, including OpenAI.
• Knowledge of vector databases, embeddings, or search-based AI.
• Domain knowledge in legal, tax, or accounting.
