Description

You will provide litigation support and administrative assistance to attorneys in a legal environment.

Responsibilities

  • Draft legal pleadings using templates or existing examples.
  • File documents with courts and interact directly with court clerk offices.
  • Manage service of process via certified mail or by coordinating with process servers.
  • Schedule court reporters for hearings and trials and prepare trial exhibits and witness lists.
  • Organize and maintain both hard copy and electronic legal files.
  • Research, gather, and review information for cases and document findings accurately.
  • Track case actions and status updates using Excel.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and security of all legal documents.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience as a Paralegal for an attorney or law firm handling litigation.
  • Proficiency in building, updating, and maintaining spreadsheets.
  • Experience working efficiently across multiple databases.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for clear, concise email correspondence.
  • Ability to manage casework timelines, documentation, and resolution.
  • High level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Effective note-taking and email organization skills.
  • Ability to work independently and stay on task.
  • Any Graduate degree.
