You will provide litigation support and administrative assistance to attorneys in a legal environment.
Responsibilities
- Draft legal pleadings using templates or existing examples.
- File documents with courts and interact directly with court clerk offices.
- Manage service of process via certified mail or by coordinating with process servers.
- Schedule court reporters for hearings and trials and prepare trial exhibits and witness lists.
- Organize and maintain both hard copy and electronic legal files.
- Research, gather, and review information for cases and document findings accurately.
- Track case actions and status updates using Excel.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and security of all legal documents.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience as a Paralegal for an attorney or law firm handling litigation.
- Proficiency in building, updating, and maintaining spreadsheets.
- Experience working efficiently across multiple databases.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for clear, concise email correspondence.
- Ability to manage casework timelines, documentation, and resolution.
- High level of organization and attention to detail.
- Effective note-taking and email organization skills.
- Ability to work independently and stay on task.
- Any Graduate degree.
