Description

You will manage the day-to-day operations supporting legal billing functions.

Responsibilities

• Manage ebilling system operations, including invoice submission, review, validation, and approval workflows.
• Onboard and maintain outside counsel firms in TeamConnect, handling rate submissions.
• Serve as the primary contact for outside counsel and vendors regarding billing guidelines and system issues.
• Monitor eBilling queues, resolve exceptions, and escalate issues when necessary.
• Generate reports and dashboards tracking legal spend, accruals, and outside counsel performance.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in eBilling, legal operations, or law firm billing roles.
• Hands-on experience with TeamConnect, Collaborati, and other eBilling platforms.
• Experience with case/matter management and document management systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and external law firms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience in a corporate legal department or with outside counsel law firms.
• Understanding of accruals, budgets, and legal spend management.
