Description

Provide direct nursing care in a controlled long-term care unit environment.

You will own patient documentation, manage clinical risks, and apply hands-on skills to support residents.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care within the nursing unit.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation using electronic medical records.
• Manage exposure to body fluids, cleaning chemicals, and potentially violent residents safely.
• Apply clinical skills to support residents in a long-term care facility.

Required Skills

• Valid Indiana Professional License or license from an NLC participating state.
• American Heart Association CPR and BLS Certification.
• Dementia 6-hour certification completed prior to start.
• 5+ years of experience in Long Term Care (LTC).
• Proficiency in computer skills and electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Hands-on clinical experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Matrix Care EMR.
• Experience in Memory Care or short-term rehab.
