Description

You will own the end-to-end development and implementation of Liferay portal solutions, covering custom themes, portlets, hooks, and extensions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and build custom Liferay components, including themes, portlets, hooks, and extensions.
• Develop and implement Liferay Portal solutions that meet specific technical requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Liferay deployment and customization.
• Conduct unit testing and support integration and system testing processes.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of IT experience with a strong Java/JavaEE background.
• Hands-on experience with Liferay Portal version 7.4.
• Proficiency in Java 8+ and Java EE 7/8.
• Experience with Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate frameworks.
• Front-end expertise in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience using React for front-end components.
• Familiarity with AWS services for cloud deployment and integration.
• Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Liferay Developer Certification or AWS Certification.
• Experience integrating Liferay with enterprise systems and APIs.
• Knowledge of Liferay DXP and custom plugin/module development.
