Description

You will develop and maintain Liferay portlet applications and client portal web applications. You own the full lifecycle from design implementation to deployment and upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Create new portal applications and update existing ones using Java and JavaScript.
• Develop and maintain Liferay portlets, including MVC, Spring MVC, and Struts portlets.
• Manage Liferay Portal themes and implement designs based on UI mockups using CSS, JS, and Alloy UI.
• Build and maintain n-tier web applications across web, application, and database tiers.
• Collaborate with end users to set migration schedules, identify features, and provide bug fixes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Liferay Portal development, administration, deployment, and upgrades.
• Hands-on experience with Liferay versions 7.3 and 7.4.
• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong front-end skills including JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5, jQuery, Ajax, Bootstrap, and LESS.
• Experience with NodeJs and ReactJs.
• Knowledge of MySQL and DBMS technology.
• Experience working with Nginx or Apache servers on Linux.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Amazon Web Services (EC2, Lambda).
• Familiarity with DynamoDB, Redis, or Memcached.
