Description

Develop and maintain custom solutions within the Liferay DXP ecosystem, including portlets, hooks, themes, and CMS structures.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage services using Service Builder and REST Builder, implementing API security, analytics, throttling, and caching.
• Implement Liferay Fragments, forms, and WCM features, including custom hooks and themes.
• Design and execute complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions for RDBMS integration.
• Write and maintain unit tests using JUnit and manage CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitLab.
• Develop web services using REST/SOAP, AJAX, and JSON, applying Object-Oriented Design principles.

Required Skills

• 4-5+ years of professional Liferay DXP development experience (minimum version 7.2, preferably 7.4).
• Proficiency with Angular or AngularJS for frontend development.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, RDBMS, and Object-Oriented Design (OOD).
• Experience with JSON, AJAX, SOA, and REST/SOAP-based Web Services.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitLab, and JUnit for testing and version control.
• 5-7 years of experience using web servers and application servers.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Liferay Cloud and Liferay Analytics Cloud.
• Experience creating REST API documentation using Swagger or RAML.
