Description

You will design, develop, and maintain Liferay portal applications and portlets using Java and J2EE standards. You own the full development lifecycle, from writing robust backend services to implementing responsive frontend interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Build and customize Liferay portlets (v6/v7) using Java, Java EE, and Spring MVC.
• Develop backend services using Spring Framework and Hibernate, ensuring efficient data persistence.
• Implement RESTful APIs and integrate frontend components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Manage source code and collaborate on releases using Git.
• Apply strong object-oriented design principles and design patterns to ensure scalable code.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of professional Java development experience.
• Proven hands-on experience developing applications on Liferay Portal.
• Strong proficiency in Java 1.5+ and J2EE architecture.
• Deep knowledge of Spring Framework and Hibernate for enterprise application development.
• Experience with Tomcat server configuration and deployment.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable code using standard design patterns.
