Description

You will design, develop, and maintain Liferay portal applications and portlets using Java and J2EE standards.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build and customize Liferay portlets (v6/v7) using Java, Java EE, and Spring MVC.
• Develop backend services using Spring Framework and Hibernate for efficient data persistence.
• Implement RESTful APIs and integrate frontend components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Manage source code and collaborate on releases using Git.
• Apply strong object-oriented design principles and design patterns to ensure scalable code.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of professional Java development experience.
• Proven hands-on experience developing applications on Liferay Portal.
• Strong proficiency in Java 1.5+ and J2EE architecture.
• Deep knowledge of Spring Framework and Hibernate for enterprise application development.
• Experience with Tomcat server configuration and deployment.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable code using standard design patterns.
