Description

You bridge R&D lab stakeholders and technical teams to define and implement Laboratory Information Systems (LIMS).

You will own the requirements lifecycle from stakeholder interviews through system testing and user training.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document requirements from R&D stakeholders regarding lab processes and data flow.
• Analyze lab equipment to determine data retrieval protocols and proprietary export formats.
• Collaborate with solution architects and vendors to finalize LIMS integration designs with databases and IT systems.
• Lead technical discussions with vendors and subject matter experts to ensure requirements are met.
• Conduct LIMS system testing and provide feedback to technical teams for implementation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of business analysis experience specifically focused on Laboratory Information Systems (LIMS).
• Proven ability to analyze data flow requirements and instrument data retrieval protocols.
• Experience analyzing middleware systems.
• Understanding of basic IT networking.
• Experience gathering requirements for integrations between LIMS, databases, and other application systems.
• Ability to document business processes and obtain stakeholder sign-off.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN) systems.
• Background working within R&D environments.

Education: Any Graduate degree.
