Description

Manage the day-to-day implementation of a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) using industry-standard SDLC practices.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of complex IT system implementations and maintain project management plans, charters, and RAID logs.
• Coordinate efforts across program staff, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure alignment.
• Manage scope, change control, and risk mitigation to keep projects within budget.
• Facilitate governance, stakeholder meetings, and deliver programmatic documentation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a project manager in public health, healthcare, government, or IT.
• Proven experience managing large-scale IT system implementations.
• Strong understanding of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) practices.
• Experience developing solicitation documentation and managing stakeholder requirements.
• Competency in managing vendor relationships and third-party technical solutions.
• Experience with risk management and formal change control processes.
• Ability to manage project documentation, including status reports and meeting agendas.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate level education.
