Description

You will manage system platforms, infrastructure, and administration services for mission-critical financial applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage system builds, upgrades, and production support for Linux/CentOS/RHEL environments.
• Plan and execute hardware and application upgrades, OS patches, and firmware updates.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve system problems and technical incidents using advanced diagnostic tools.
• Perform hardware maintenance and repair activities using DRAC/iLO.
• Coordinate with vendors and facilities to resolve server, network, and SAN issues.
• Develop and conduct tests to ensure solutions meet documented user requirements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Linux administration experience covering provisioning, security, and troubleshooting.
• Strong server hardware troubleshooting skills, preferably with Dell servers.
• Practical networking knowledge including network bonding, routing, subnets, UDP, TCP, IP, and VLANs.
• Proficiency in Linux disk configuration, including file system creation, expansion, and migration.
• Experience with SDLC support.
• Ability to work independently and self-manage tasks.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate level education.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting Linux infrastructure on AWS and on-site.
• Working knowledge of VMware virtualization using vCenter.
• Scripting and automation experience with Puppet or Ansible.
