Description

You will manage Linux distributions and automate batch processes through scripting and workload automation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage Linux distributions, including package installation, service management, patching, and cron job configuration.
• Write and troubleshoot Bash/Shell scripts to automate batch processes.
• Define and manage jobs, boxes, dependencies, and calendars in AutoSys using JIL and Workload Control Center (WCC).
• Install, configure, and upgrade AutoSys, manage agents, and resolve scheduling issues.
• Handle change requests and defect tickets via ServiceNow within structured ITIL processes.

Required Skills

• 8 to 12 years of experience in Linux administration.
• Strong proficiency in Bash/Shell scripting for automation.
• Hands-on experience with AutoSys, JIL, and Workload Control Center (WCC).
• Experience managing AutoSys agents, patches, and job health monitoring.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting complex batch processes.
• Experience using ServiceNow for ticket and change management.
• Working knowledge of ITIL or formal change management processes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with workload automation tools beyond AutoSys.
• Background in infrastructure as code or configuration management.
