Description

You will manage and maintain Linux servers within virtualized environments, handling infrastructure automation and database support.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain services including Bind, Apache, MySQL, and Nginx.
• Automate system tasks and workflows using scripting and configuration management tools.
• Manage and support databases such as MS SQL, Oracle, or DB2.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex system and service issues.
• Document technical processes and system configurations clearly.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Linux administration or engineering.
• Strong scripting proficiency in Bash, Python, Ruby, or Perl.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible for configuration management.
• Experience managing Apache, MySQL, and Nginx services.
• Knowledge of MS SQL, Oracle, or DB2 databases.
• Experience working with Linux servers in virtualized environments.
• Ability to maintain detailed technical documentation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud computing platforms.
• Experience managing open-source suites like WordPress or Drupal.
