Description

You will provide 24x7 operational support for all cloud infrastructure and participate in the on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Implement infrastructure availability and performance monitoring to ensure platform uptime.
• Automate OS/security patching and manage cluster upgrades for AKS and GKE.
• Drive the production readiness Permit to Operate (PTO) process for cloud migrations.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to support cloud infrastructure implementations.
• Drive root cause analysis (RCA) with incident management for high-priority issues.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience as a Linux Administrator supporting large-scale cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, specifically Terraform and ARM Templates.
• Proficiency with automation tools including Ansible, Chef, Jenkins, and Terraform.
• Experience working with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong Linux system-level knowledge, including shell scripting, systemd, and OS troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of API integrations using REST/JSON and WebSockets.
• Scripting experience using Bash and basic knowledge of Perl.
• Basic exposure to Kubernetes administration and cloud-native environments.
• Relevant degree in Computer Science or a related field.
