Description

You will provide senior-level Linux systems administration support for the C5ISR Center DCSB Defensive Cyber Operations Security Operations Center equipment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Support change and control boards by providing installation, configuration, engineering, and accreditation documents for infrastructure changes.
• Design, install, maintain, and coordinate network systems usage.
• Maintain Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) compliance on security devices.
• Support systems engineering efforts for new system development, critical enhancements, and patch configuration management.
• Mentor junior system administrators and reinforce adoption of best practices.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in systems administration.
• Strong command-line Linux proficiency, preferably Red Hat.
• Scripting experience using Bash or Powershell.
• Familiarity with VMWare and vCenter.
• Knowledge of IP networking principles.
• Knowledge of computer security principles and DoD security protocols.
• Experience with change control processes and vulnerability management.
• Must hold DoD 8570 IAT-II (Security+) certification prior to start date.
• Must hold Computing Environment Certification prior to start date.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting SOC equipment in a DoD environment.
