Description

You will manage mission-critical Linux infrastructure for financial applications, handling system builds, upgrades, and production support across on-premise and AWS environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Provision, secure, and troubleshoot Linux servers (RHEL/CentOS).
• Configure and maintain server hardware, including Dell servers, DRAC/ILOM, and storage/networking (SAN, VLANs, TCP/IP).
• Plan and execute OS patches, firmware updates, and hardware upgrades with minimal downtime.
• Resolve advanced technical incidents using diagnostic tools and coordinate with vendors for repairs.
• Support the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and validate solutions against user requirements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience administering Linux systems in a production environment.
• Strong networking knowledge: routing, subnets, UDP, TCP, IP, VLANs, and network bonding.
• Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure.
• Proficiency in VMware virtualization management using vCenter.
• Practical understanding of disk configuration, file system creation, expansion, and migration.
• Experience with server hardware troubleshooting and maintenance on Dell servers.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with automation tools such as Puppet or Ansible.
• Ability to script for infrastructure automation and system management.
