Description

Manage and maintain Linux-based servers and HPC systems, including NVIDIA DGX environments. This role oversees system availability, security, and performance tuning.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of Linux environments to ensure high availability and security.
• Resolve complex hardware, network, and software conflicts.
• Implement security policies, manage firewall configurations, and conduct vulnerability assessments.
• Develop automation scripts for system monitoring, backups, and deployments using Bash and Python.
• Perform system performance tuning, upgrades, and patch management.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of Linux Administration experience.
• Deep expertise in Ubuntu, Red Hat, and CentOS distributions.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Bash and Python.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible.
• Experience managing virtualization technologies including VMware, KVM, and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms including AWS and Azure.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools like Puppet or Chef.
• RHCE, CompTIA Linux+, or LPIC certifications.
