Description

You will manage and maintain Linux server infrastructure, handling system administration, troubleshooting, and capacity planning.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer and troubleshoot Red Hat Enterprise Linux (versions 7, 8, 9) and SUSE OS environments.
• Perform system upgrades and migrations for Red Hat and SUSE OS.
• Troubleshoot Unix-related issues and conduct root cause analysis on problem tickets.
• Manage physical hardware, including SAN and NAS disk management, and configure multipath, bonding, and teaming.
• Monitor system performance, plan capacity, and mitigate risks proactively.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in Linux system administration.
• Hands-on experience with Red Hat Servers and SUSE OS.
• Strong knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration.
• Experience with VMWare vCenter.
• Proficiency with RAID and LVM administration and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of Linux system files, boot process, and run levels.
• Experience with user management, RPM management, and kernel patch management.
• Knowledge of SAN and NAS disk management.

Preferred Skills

• Basic knowledge of scripting and participation in automation tasks.
