Description

Own the lifecycle of RHEL-based infrastructure, including deployment, automation, and Tier 3 support within a hybrid cloud environment.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain RHEL systems, configuring DHCP, DNS, routing, and LAN components.
• Build and manage Red Hat infrastructure, automating host configuration, package creation, and software deployment.
• Design disaster recovery plans and document procedures for Linux server platforms and related services.
• Handle Tier 3 escalations and participate in 12x7 on-call rotation, supporting operations from India and the US.
• Collaborate in a DevOps-oriented team to provision custom application servers and automate build/release processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience administering RHEL and Linux servers.
• Deep knowledge of DNS, DHCP, and LAN troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in writing automation scripts for system administration and deployment.
• Experience with router and switch configuration and routing protocols.
• Ability to define disaster recovery plans and establish operational documentation.
• Strong understanding of hybrid cloud infrastructure and continuous lifecycle management.
• Experience supporting core services in a 24/7 operational environment.
