Description

You will manage Linux server administration and VMware-based private cloud operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage user identities, groups, access rights, and passwords within Active Directory and server environments.
• Maintain server infrastructure including domains, volumes, RAID parameters, and patch deployment for test and live environments.
• Operate VMware private cloud setups, including provisioning virtualized infrastructure, managing VM snapshots, and configuring networking, VLAN tagging, and datastores.
• Execute migration activities between physical and virtual instances and perform platform upgrades.
• Document all technical procedures and collect data for regulatory audits and internal reporting.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for BCP mock releases, failover testing, and contingency maintenance exercises.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in Linux administration and configuration.
• Hands-on experience with VMware virtualization and private cloud management.
• Proficiency in server migration, including physical-to-virtual and virtual-to-virtual workflows.
• Experience managing Active Directory services and user access controls.
• Knowledge of RAID parameters, volume management, and hardware/software lifecycle updates.
• Ability to perform server decommissioning and failover testing procedures.
• Any Graduate degree.
