Description

You will manage and support large-scale Linux infrastructure across cloud environments, ensuring high availability and performance. You will own the operational stability of cloud platforms, drive automation initiatives, and collaborate with engineering teams to support cloud migration and infrastructure improvements.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24x7 operational support for cloud infrastructure and participate in on-call rotations.
• Implement monitoring for availability and performance to ensure platform uptime.
• Automate OS security patching and manage AKS/GKE cluster upgrades.
• Drive production readiness (PTO) processes for applications migrating to public cloud.
• Collaborate with SRE, development, and database teams to support cloud implementations.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience as a Linux Administrator supporting large-scale cloud infrastructure.
• Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools, specifically Terraform and ARM Templates.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools: Ansible, Chef, and Jenkins.
• Deep knowledge of Linux system-level operations, including shell scripting, systemd, and OS-level troubleshooting.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools: Docker and Kubernetes.
• Working knowledge of API integrations using REST/JSON and WebSockets.
• Scripting proficiency in Bash and basic knowledge of Perl.
